December has been a busy month so far! But we've had some good times and are now enjoying school being out for the Christmas break! We are looking forward to the Christmas celebration and the excitement of Jesus' Birthday, as well getting to spend time with our family and friends!
We were able to all attend the Christmas parade the first Friday night in December. Luckily, the weather wasn't too cold, and the parade was fairly short, so we had a good time. We were able to hang out with the Brands, as well as some of the folks from our previous small group! Sweet little Kathryn fell asleep during the parade and she stayed asleep the whole time, even through all of the drums, bands, and loud music! The Grinch and Santa were the crowd favorites!
Jessica and I took the kids to see Disney on Ice. The show was fabulous! The kids enjoyed it so much, and luckily we got out of there without breaking the bank!
Sam had his Arctic Edge singing program at school. Luckily, Chet was off of work so we were both able to go watch. Of course, when Sam saw us, he clammed up and wouldn't sing or look at us. Bless his heart. He's just like Kendall was at the age. The true star of the pre-show was Kathryn. She had a blast climbing the stairs and bleachers and dancing to the music.
Of course, he was so teased!

Kendall had her gymnastics "Snowflake Meet" so that the parents could see the progress of the kids. She did great! I'm so proud of her athleticism!
