A Very Merry (and Unseasonably Warm) Christmas!

We had a very excited group of kids waiting on Christmas Eve to get here. Kendall and Sam had to look under the tree everyday to see what new presents had appeared. I got smart and kept some of the gifts unlabeled so that they wouldn't sneak and open them! On Christmas Eve morning, I snapped some pictures of them in their matching pajamas. They were too cute!

Kathryn was loving looking at the tree and touching the ornaments. I'm thankful that she hasn't been very mobile this Christmas or we may have had a lot of broken ornaments!

We played outside on Christmas Eve day. The weather was so warm and we got out and played in our shorts and t-shirts. It was so nice to be hanging in our summer clothes during Christmas! Later that evening, we went to the Christmas eve service at church. We then went to eat at the Panda Express (Kendall's choice), and we came home to put on our new pajamas and let the kids open 1 gift each.

Me and my baby girl!

Love these 2 when they are so sweet to each other!

Opening their first gift--Operation game!

Kendall got a huge jewelry making set with so many beads!! Sam got some building blocks and he was so excited about them!!

Our family picture--Christmas Eve 2015

Just prior to bed, we went outside to spread the reindeer food on the lawn. Kendall and Sam loved throwing it out and strategically placing it so the Santa and his reindeer would see it. Kendall enjoyed eating the raw oats out of the bag, though!!

Christmas morning was so much fun...Sam woke up and came into our room to go to the bathroom, and then he got back in bed without ever seeing the gifts. After about 20 minutes, Kendall got up and her and Sam came running and screaming with excitement! They were so funny as they went through all of their gifts!!

Sam has on his knee and elbow pads. This was for his electric scooter he got. Kendall got an iPad Mini!

Sam is dressed out and ready to ride...however, it was storming SO terribly bad that morning!

He loved his marvels matching game and his hot wheels cars.

Santa brought a 3 person tent and sleeping bags for them. They've been dying to camp out, so there is even room for daddy in the tent!

Sweet baby sister slept through all of the excitement. We woke her up about 9am so she could see what she got. Santa brought her a Minnie Mouse car and some fun toys.

Kendall got a cotton candy maker and she was excited. So, daddy fired it up to start making cotton candy for breakfast...the bad thing about is that it takes forever to start getting any cotton candy made and it makes a HUGE mess! I think Santa should take this gift back!

After 10 minutes of making it, this was all the cotton candy we had!

We ran out of time this year to make a birthday cake for Jesus, so we improvised with cinnamon rolls. We lit candles, sang happy birthday, and let the kids blow the candles out!

After spending Christmas morning at home, we waited for the storms to blow threw and then we loaded up and headed to Clarksdale for the rest of the weekend with our family. We spent friday night and saturday over at Karen's house. It was so much fun to all be together. It's a bit chaotic with all the kids, but we always have so much fun!!

In the midst of all the chaos of opening presents, Sam got a really cool robot car.

Kendall got some cute things too!

Baby Kathryn opening her gifts with a little help from Mimi. Of course, we put a bow on her head because she is the best little present we could have ever hoped for!

Yay! I finally got a decent watch!

Some of the cousins...
Jon Mark, Sydni, Maddi, Kendall, Kathryn, Sam, and Andrew

Jon Mark and Sally (his GF)

The weather was so crazy warm that the kids got out in summer clothes and stomped in the mud puddles. They had an absolute blast doing it!! Sam was the funniest one holding his shorts up the whole time... I guess he thought they were going to get wet!

These are some cute kiddos!! and Sam still holding his shorts up!

Aunt Karen and Baby Kathryn

Now, I'm not quite sure what to say about these 3... they are like Larry, Moe, and Curly, the 3 Stooges

They are so crazy!!

Kendall and Sam giving the 4 wheeler a test drive! Uncle Mark took them all riding through the woods!

Life on the farm with a John Deere!

There are no words...this dude is hysterical!

Maddi and Kathryn-- Just a swingin'

We got to go to the graveyard to see Papa's tombstone!

BEAUTIFUL!

The weather was so nice that we spent the day swinging on Aunt Karen's porch swing. Kathryn loved it for nap time!

Sweet and beautiful baby girl cousins!

We also got to visit with Aunt Scott and Uncle Billy on Saturday night, and then again on Sunday. We went to a surprise birthday/retirement party for cousin Georgia, so it was fun catching up with some of Chet's relatives.
