September Shenanigans!

September started out with a bang! Busy with baseball tournaments, Homecoming dances, impromptu photo ops, and lots of fun at work made for a fun month. My contract was extended in Helena for an additional 4 weeks. It was always fun working with Tiffany, Paige, Carolyn, and Chris. I got to spend time with Mimi, Aunt Karen, and Cash during the month that I was there. I also got to meet our sweet baby Anthony in the hospital! He is the little caboose of the 12 grandchildren and he is adorable. Sam had a ball tournament in New Albany...they did ok, but it got rained out for the last games and we couldn't play. Kendall went to her very first Homecoming party (at the Decker's) and then to the HC game with friends...she looked so pretty and so grown up! We took some cute pictures of us at Firehouse subs one day after church. The lighting was amazing and everyone's eyes were so blue and beautiful!! We visitied the park, saw the Paw Patrol 2 movie, enjoyed the last few days at the pool, and had fun at the HC parade. It was a fun and memorable month!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Happy birthday to our daddy Chet!! He sure is a handsome 53 year old!! We had a very low key celebration at home with a homemade cake, made and decorated by Kendall! It tasted delicious! We are so thankful for all that he does for us, and pray many blessings on him for the next 53 years!

First Day of School

As much as we have enjoyed the summer, I think we are all looking forward to going back to school. The terrible news is that they will have to wear masks again (insert eye roll here...), but I am hoping that doesn't last long. WE are sick of Covid!! Anyway, Kendall is starting 7th grade at Tupelo Middle School, Sam is in 4th at Lawhon, and Kat is in 1st at Carver! We are praying protection over our kids, encouragement for our teachers, and healing for our country!!

"Framily" Vacation to Anna Maria Island

Another successful FRamily vacation in Anna Maria Island just ended! As always, we had a ball! We all headed down a day early and spend the night in Tampa. We got up and tackled Busch Gardens. The kids LOVED the roller coasters, but unfortunately, since Kat is small, she couldn't ride very much, and our family had to split up. There ended up being long lines in all of the big roller coasters so we didn't get to ride very much. It was an expensive day for the few coasters we got to ride, but the memories are SO worth it!! We then headed on to AMI! The Brands and Abrahams had a 3 story house together only a block away from the Beavers and the Kahlstorfs. We hated not all being together, but we couldn't find a house big enough for all 19 of us! We played on the beach, rode bikes, ate good, and we even rode the jet ski's this year. The red tide was in the ocean so we did see lots of dead fish this year (which is not a good look for the beach). We saw a few manatee, but not many this year, but we did find some amazing sea shells!! We always have such a great time with our friends, and this is a trip we look forward to each year!
