Christmas Eve

This year, we continued the tradition of the Christmas Eve candlelight service at the church, followed by our "FRAMILY" dinner and caroling with the Beavers, Kahlstorfs, and Brands. It's absolutely my favorite time of year and the most special event we do. We were thankful that Mimi was here to join us in all of our fun! We are blessed with an amazing friend group who are more like family to us! We have been doing life together for almost 14 years, and I can't imagine how we would've made it this far without their love an support!

After we got home, we let the kids open 1 gift on Christmas Eve. Kat was the most excited since hers was a Paw Patrol car. Sam got a tennis racket and balls, and Kendall opened clothes (which she was not impressed with)! We ended the night with some photos around the tree and preparing our cookies and milk for Santa!

Kendall's Baptism and Family Christmas!

On Dec. 22, Kendall made the public profession of her faith in God by being baptized. We were so proud of her for stepping into what God has called her to do. She accepted Christ almost 2 years ago at the Orchard Spring Retreat, but she finally decided she was ready for Baptism. She rocked the video (even said she was going to MSU for acting and theatre). I thought Chet was going to fall out of his chair! LOL! We are so excited for her and what God has in store for her life! Most of the family was able to attend!

Mr Will Rambo baptizing Kendall

After the baptism, we all gathered at our house for a huge pasta lunch and dessert. We had our family Christmas by exchanging gifts (yes, it was wild!!). The adults played the annual dirty santa and the Lottery tickets seemed to be the hot item of the day! Chet played the guitar and we sang and acted silly. It was so much fun having everyone together!

Aunt Scott rocked the gifts this year... Sam got his Beyblade stadium, Kendall got her Copic markers and journal, and Kat got her Paw Patrol backpack!!

Kendall's Piano Recital and a Visit with Santa!

Yesterday, Kendall performed in her 2nd annual Christmas Recital with Mrs. Tricia. She played "You Say" by Lauren Daigle and she did so well!! She had many compliments on her performance! We are so proud of her!

After the recital, we decided to make a stop to see Santa at the Thomas St Apothecary. It was so much fun! The kids got to visit with him and tell him all the things they desired for Christmas. Let's just hope that Santa can deliver on some of those requests!!
