Hello, December!

Hello, December!!! We are so excited about Christmas and all of the fun that comes along with the season. Here are a few snapshots from our weeks so far!

Kat was wearing a dress that was Kendall's so I was trying to get her to take some pictures so we could have the 2 of them in the same dress. Of course, she acted super silly (as always), but she was still cute in her hand-me-down!

Kendall lost another tooth!! She was so excited! We were up pulling this tooth at 10 pm, and daddy was grossed out! We are glad the tooth fairy came to see her!!

Our elf, Sella, finally showed up and brought with him some awesome cereal from the North Pole! The kids loved it and were so excited that he had finally arrived!

Kat was recognized as one of the Bee-tastic students for the month of December. This is a student that models good behavior. We are so proud of her and all that she is learning at school!

Kat and her teacher, Ms. Young

The kids have begged to make gingerbread houses, but I honestly think the excitement was more about eating the candy and icing than it was about making the houses! They had fun and filled their bellies with the extra candy!

The Christmas Card That Didn't Happen- Year 2!

Well, we attempted a Christmas Card again this year, but we didn't quite succeed (2nd year!!). Mimi was here one weekend and we set the camera up so all she would need to do was click the button. We had the perfect lighting, but Kathryn would NOT cooperate. That girl...there are no words for her stubbornness! She did not want to smile; she disliked her outfit; she just wasn't having it at all! Not even with bribery. We, by the hardest, got 1 picture we may could use, but I never got around to making and sending it. So, here are the bloopers and the few good ones we got! We definitely got a good laugh once it was over, but you can tell by the looks on our faces how frustrated we were! LOL!

We kicked KAT out of the picture!!

Here I am trying to talk some sense into her...didn't work!

I was OVER it!

We finally got a silly picture and she fit right in!!

Had we done a card, this would've been it!

Look how grown up Kendall is! She is so beautiful!

Sweet Sam!!

The one smile we got from her!

Mom and Dad dress up well!

Thanksgiving!

We celebrated Thanksgiving in Oxford at Uncle Mark and Aunt Jessica's house. Everyone was there (minus Lindsey and the twins). We ate too much, and had a great time! The weather was so nice so the kids got to play outside and run off that energy! We are so thankful for our family and how blessed we are!! After we left Oxford, we went on to Clarksdale for a few days to visit with Aunt Scott and her crew! It was great to hang with Taylor and Carson, too!

ECEC Fall Festival

We attended the ECEC fall festival (except for Kendall who decided to stay home). Kat's class performed some precious Thanksgiving songs! She was embarrassed but she did good. They did crafts, had a carnival with games, and a silent auction.

Halloween 2019

As always, we had our annual halloween trick-or-treating and cook out with the Shafers and the Leddys. We always have a great time, and this year was no different! The weather turned cold on Halloween day which caused some last minute costume changes. It all worked out and our little Iron Man, Ninja, and Masked girl had fun! We even saved some money this year since 2 of the 3 costumes were from previous Halloweens!! :)
