We celebrated Thanksgiving in Oxford at Uncle Mark and Aunt Jessica's house. Everyone was there (minus Lindsey and the twins). We ate too much, and had a great time! The weather was so nice so the kids got to play outside and run off that energy! We are so thankful for our family and how blessed we are!! After we left Oxford, we went on to Clarksdale for a few days to visit with Aunt Scott and her crew! It was great to hang with Taylor and Carson, too!

ECEC Fall Festival
We attended the ECEC fall festival (except for Kendall who decided to stay home). Kat's class performed some precious Thanksgiving songs! She was embarrassed but she did good. They did crafts, had a carnival with games, and a silent auction.

Halloween 2019
As always, we had our annual halloween trick-or-treating and cook out with the Shafers and the Leddys. We always have a great time, and this year was no different! The weather turned cold on Halloween day which caused some last minute costume changes. It all worked out and our little Iron Man, Ninja, and Masked girl had fun! We even saved some money this year since 2 of the 3 costumes were from previous Halloweens!! :)

Pumpkin Patch for Kat!
I am so thankful that I was able to attend Kat's Pumpkin Patch field trip with her class from ECEC. We had so much fun! The trip had been postponed 2 times due to rain, so we were thankful for a beautiful sunny day!

October Fun!
October is always a busy month for us. We celebrated with Annalyce at her Barbie birthday party. It was fun, especially because Mimi and Maddi were there! We always enjoy getting to be around our family!!
Aunt Scott came to stay the night with the kids while mom and dad went to Birmingham to celebrate Mr Ben's 40th birthday. Aunt Scott brought along fun birthday goodies for Kendall, and also was the one who added another member to our family.... Leo the Fish! She took the kids to the pet store and they picked out a beautiful Beta fish. She gave them step by step instructions on taking care of him. She assured us that they would be responsible for him or else she would have to move him to Clarksdale! We will see how all of that goes!!

Happy 11th Birthday, Kendall!
Kendall turned 11 on Oct. 10, which was the day before fall break! We celebrated by lunch at school with friends, followed by a mom-daughter trip to Southaven for shopping, sushi, and a fantastic Lauren Daigle concert!! It was Kendall's first concert and it was amazing! We had a great time, and I definitely think it was a birthday that she will never forget!!
