Awards Day 2019

We celebrated awards day for Sam and Kendall on the same day. Sam's class received his 1st grade certificate and recognition as a Carver Cub. He also said he wanted to be a Dolphin Trainer when he grows up!! lol! We are so thankful for Carver and his teacher, Mrs. Roberts-Clark and his reading teacher, Mrs. Chism. He has grown so much and excelled in his studies! We are so proud of him!

That afternoon, Kendall had her awards day! I am so proud of her for the awards that she received! She received the Beta Club award, STEM award, Superintendent's List (all A's), and Excellence in Writing award. 

We will sure miss seeing Mr. Enis next year!

Toothfairy comes to see Sam!

It finally happened!! Sam lost his first tooth last night, and he was so excited! He finally let me pull it since the back tooth was growing behind it! The tooth fairy even came and brought him $20. 

Happy Mother's Day!

I am so thankful for the 3 that have made me a mother! They bring me so much joy (stress sometimes, too!!)! I was thankful that daddy and the kids gave me a gift certificate for a massage and treated me to lunch after church!

We have torn our bedroom apart to paint and install hardwood flooring. My own "Bob Vila" has been hard at work in getting it done! He is even teaching Sam how to be helpful and handy! 

This is all I have of the finished product. We were so happy with the turnout. All the handwork paid off! 

It's Baseball Time!!

It's baseball time!!! The Community Bank Cubs are ready for a fun season! We lost our first game, but it was fun to see our friends!

Happy Easter! He is Risen!

Today is the day the Lord is Risen! We are so thankful for our Savior! 

The kids were super excited about their Easter Bunny baskets. They were full of candy, clothes, and goodies! 

After church, we hosted the Brands at our house for Easter lunch. Kathryn wouldn't cooperate for the family picture, so this was all we could get. Once she got her dress off and some food, she was much nicer! 

After lunch, we had an egg hunt and the kids decided to jump on the trampoline with the sprinkler! They had fun for about 5 minutes and then everyone was cold!

Chet and Sam spent the day Turkey Hunting off the Trace. I don't think they saw any Turkey, but it was such a fun Father-Son day!
