Kendall's Field Day at Carver

I was able to attend Kendall's field day at Carver, and it was fun to watch the kids play and interact with each other. There were lots of activities for them to do to keep them busy on their last day of school!

Kendall's Kindergarten Awards Day

Kendall has had a great year in Kindergarten! She has grown so much in maturity and in her learning. I'm so proud of her accomplishments--she has learned to read so well, is learning math skills, and all sorts of new things! I laughed at one point during the year because even I didn't understand the homework assignment! Anyway, we figured it out and she excelled in her class! She made the Honors List for all 4 quarters! We loved her teacher, Mrs. Corkern! We are thankful for the year that we have had, but we are definitely looking forward to summer break!

Kendall's Gymnastics Recital

This year, Kendall took gymnastics at Flip Flop gymnastics with Mrs. Misti Hayes. She really enjoyed it and learned so much! She is a natural little gymnast, and I hope she continues to pursue it in the future! They had an end of the year recital where they showed off their skills. I'm so proud of her and all that she has accomplished this year!

Kendall's Kindergarten Play and Spring Fling

Kendall had a kindergarten program in honor of Mother Goose's Nursery Rhymes. Her class sang Humpty Dumpty and they did so good! Kendall even had a special part as the spoon! Later that afternoon, Carver hosted their annual Spring Fling with dinner, games, and activities. Kendall and Sam had a great time!

Mother's Day Weekend

Mother's Day weekend was spent in Clarksdale having a work weekend at Mimi's house! Chet and Mark got Mimi's fence built in her back yard and finished her bathroom! We were excited to get 2 projects completed! We cooked and ate at Karen's house on Sunday (mother's day) and enjoyed some good family time! We are so thankful for the mothers in our lives and they way that they have shaped us and influenced us!
