A Laid Back Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration the weekend before Thanksgiving with our whole family out at 7 Chimney's. Everyone was there (minus Lindsey), including Aunt Scott and her crew. It was so much fun and the weather was absolutely beautiful. The kids were able to run and play outside and enjoy the warm temperature. Mimi came to Tupelo to stay for Thanksgiving and a few days afterwards because Chet and I took our delayed 20th annniversary trip to St. Lucia. Thanksgiving day was super laid back...Chet cooked a delicious beef tenderloin, and we added garlic cheese grits, hashbrown casserole, and salad to the plate. It was amazing. We then loaded up and went to the movie to see Encanto, which was so good! We even let Kendall drive around the empty parking lot! It was a great, relaxing holiday!!

Family Pictures

We were able to get some pretty good family pictures at Thanksgiving when we were all together. It's not often we get the chance to be together, so we had to take advantage of the opportunity!

Girls Weekend in Tupelo!

Chet and Sam went to TN to go hunting with Adam and Hayden, so the girls had a fun, relaxing weekend in Tupelo. On Friday night, we met Hollie and Ivey Kate at Cantina Del Sol to eat mexican. Then on Saturday, we went downtown to shop the Christmas open house, have lunch, and enjoy the gorgeous sunshine and warm temperature! We even got to see Santa Claus!! We took advantage of the great scenery downtown and had a little impromptu photo shoot! It was a fun weekend, and I very much enjoyed time with just the girls!

Pumpkin Patch

I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to go with Kat's class to the Pumpkin Patch this year. We had a great time at the Blue Mountain Pumpkin Patch. Her class was fun and very entertaining! We had fun on the slides and on the big bouncy trampoline, but she also loved feeding the animals! We picked out pumpkins for both of us so we could decorate the front porch (according to her). I really enjoyed my day with her!

Halloween 2021

As always, we spent halloween in our neighborhood with the Leddy's. We trick or treated for a while then went to Mrs. Sissy's for some soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. Kendall was too busy with her social life to stay with us (and so it begins...). She went to 2 different Halloween parties dressed as a space cowboy. Sam and Kat were some sort of crazy costumes, but they picked them out and they loved them! I love our low key halloween celebrations!!
