Brumby Beach Babes 2021

This is a weekend that I look forward to every year, and this years trip was amazing!!! Once again, the Brumby Beach Babes had a ball in Santa Rosa, FL. Me, Kim, Jennifer, Julie, Lee Ellen, and Leslie had a ball. We laughed and reminisced about all the fun we used to have back at Delta State. The weather was pretty but chilly but we made the best of it. We ate good each night, and we loved the piano bar entertainment. I am so thankful for this group of friends that reconnected and is loving our long weekend away! (I was at the beach last weekend with my Tupelo girls but they wouldn't let me take any pictures.

Easter Blessings!

This year, Easter was very low key for us. Chet was on call for the weekend, so we stayed in Tupelo. It was just our family which was actually nice and memorable. On Saturday, we hunted eggs in the driveway. After about 3 times of hiding and finding, they were done. On Sunday, we went to church, and thankfully dad got off in time to meet us there. We came home for lunch where we had ham, dressing, and all of the fixings. We had a nice surprise visit from Uncle Mark and his crew later that afternoon. The kids played outside and enjoyed the amazing weather. We are so thankful for our Lord who paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we may have abundant life! Our hope is in Jesus Christ, and that calls for a huge celebration!

 

Travel Ball is in Full Effect!

Sam is enjoying his first year as a Tupelo Titan! We have enjoyed being a part of team and playing baseball with some amazing boys and families. The girls have been great with all of the tournaments and going along wherever we need to. Sam has played some 3rd base, some pitching, and is now mainly in left field. We have enjoyed watching our #9 and his teammates fall right in to the travel ball mentality. We are looking for a big championship win real soon!
