Happy Birthday, Mimi!

We had a surprise birthday party for Mimi on Friday night at Rest Haven. Us, Mark and crew, Karen and Cash, and Mrs. Mary and Mr. Mike all surprised Mimi with dinner and cake. She was excited and we had a fun time celebrating her 72 years of life! We are so thankful for the "rock" of our family!

Lake Days Are So Much Fun!

We spent Saturday afternoon with the Osbirns at Bay Springs lake, and we had an absolute blast! The weather was perfect! The kids loved the tube! Kathryn was wanting to go faster and faster! We love spending time with our friends, especially at the lake! We are hoping for many more lake days in the future!

Mine and Chet's 18th anniversary was on Sunday. We didn't do anything special, but we sure have loved living life together and raising these kids! We have been so blessed in our marriage and family. We are looking forward to the next 18 years and to see what God has in store for us!

A Day in Pre-K

Kathryn had her first "Day in Pre-K" and luckily Chet and I were both able to show up and attend. We had fun watching them have carpet time. We then got to choose a center to play in, and Kathryn picked puzzles. She is loving her new school and doing so well with learning and making new friends! We are so thankful for this opportunity at ECEC!

Abrahams Take Tanglefoot Trail!

It's Labor Day and what did we do?? We labored on the Tanglefoot Trail and it was a blast! This is something I've been wanting to do for a while, and now that Sam and Kendall can both ride bikes for a long time, we decided it was the perfect day for it. We loaded up our bikes and set out on the trail with a sack of food and drinks. We actually ended up biking a little over 12 miles roundtrip. Everyone did good, but Kendall was NOT a fan of the biking. She pouted at times, but she survived. We started in Algoma and biked to downtown Pontotoc. We stopped at a little shop and had fruit bowls to power up for the ride back. It was a fun day!!

About 4 miles into the ride, this is what Kendall looked like!! She was over it!

Everyone smiles for fruit bowls!!

Family LOVE!

We were so excited that Uncle Charlie, Treva, Bella and Marshall made a trip to Oxford over the weekend for softball camp for Bella. We drove over to Oxford to visit with them (Bella and Marshall were at the camp). Karen and the girls met us as well! We all went to lunch at Proud Larry's and then went back to Mark's house to visit. It was so good seeing them! We don't see them often enough so it was such a great visit!
