Memorial Day Fun!

As tradition would have it, we made our annual trip to Clarksdale and Moon Lake for Memorial Day Weekend. Daddy played in the Graham Bramlett Golf Tournament, while the kids and I "attempted" to go to the lake with the Holders. As soon as we pulled out to the sandbar, Kendall began not feeling well. She actually looked a little green and puny and was freezing, despite the 90 degree heat. We hitched a ride back to the dock and headed back to Mimi's to find that she had over 102 temp. She was sick all weekend with a fever virus, but that didn't stop the rest of us from enjoying our time. I got a few pictures of Kathryn and Sam in the lake. We did swim at the TCC on Sunday and visited with Aunt Scott and Uncle Billy.  Daddy didn't win the golf tournament, but he had a great time playing with Preston. 

We made it!!!!

We survived another year of school!!! We made it on time everyday! We are so glad it's finally summer!! The kids have grown so much over the year. We are blessed by an amazing set of teachers (most of them anyway) that have loved and supported the kids this year! We are looking forward to a fun and relaxing summer!

Awards Day 2019

We celebrated awards day for Sam and Kendall on the same day. Sam's class received his 1st grade certificate and recognition as a Carver Cub. He also said he wanted to be a Dolphin Trainer when he grows up!! lol! We are so thankful for Carver and his teacher, Mrs. Roberts-Clark and his reading teacher, Mrs. Chism. He has grown so much and excelled in his studies! We are so proud of him!

That afternoon, Kendall had her awards day! I am so proud of her for the awards that she received! She received the Beta Club award, STEM award, Superintendent's List (all A's), and Excellence in Writing award. 

We will sure miss seeing Mr. Enis next year!

Toothfairy comes to see Sam!

It finally happened!! Sam lost his first tooth last night, and he was so excited! He finally let me pull it since the back tooth was growing behind it! The tooth fairy even came and brought him $20. 

Happy Mother's Day!

I am so thankful for the 3 that have made me a mother! They bring me so much joy (stress sometimes, too!!)! I was thankful that daddy and the kids gave me a gift certificate for a massage and treated me to lunch after church!

We have torn our bedroom apart to paint and install hardwood flooring. My own "Bob Vila" has been hard at work in getting it done! He is even teaching Sam how to be helpful and handy! 

This is all I have of the finished product. We were so happy with the turnout. All the handwork paid off!
