Baseball Season has begun!

Sam also had his first baseball game the same night in April. This year, he is on the Community Bank Cubs, along with his best buddy Andy Osbirn. Andy's dad, Jamie, is the head coach and Chet and other dads are helping out. We've got a long way to go, but these boys are going to have a blast this season!!

We may have a little artist on our hands!! Sam's Cat Artwork was chosen to be displayed at the Gumtree Art Museum out of all of the kids at his school! We are so proud of him!

Easter Festivities!

We always enjoy all of the festivities leading up to Easter! We attend the Ash Wednesday service at church, then we follow that by Lent and the celebration of our Risen Lord. Our church always has a fun Easter Egg hunt at the park, and thankfully, the weather was beautiful! It was cool and windy, but the sun was shining bright and the kids had a blast hunting eggs! When we finished the egg hunt, we drove to Clarksdale to enjoy the rest of the weekend with Mimi and the rest of the family. We went to church at Clarksdale Baptist Church (my home church) and had Easter lunch at Aunt Karen's house. Jay's sweet mama, Nana, dyed eggs with the kids, and they all played outside! It was a fantastic weekend making memories with our family!
