16th Anniversary with Bruno Mars!

So Chet and I celebrated our 16th Anniversary on September 15! We celebrated by heading off to Memphis to see Bruno Mars in concert! It was an impromptu date and thankfully Mimi came to stay with the kids so we could spend the afternoon on Beale St before the concert! We ate some good Memphis BBQ on Beale, and then headed off to shake our booties to the awesome moves and sounds of Bruno and company! The concert was amazing. The only problem was that we had seats on the VERY TOP ROW of the FedEx Forum. We still had a great time, though!

Bruno was fantastic

Go Rebels!

We got to head over to Oxford to cheer the Rebels on to a victory on their opening game of the season! We had a great time, even though we only lasted 1.5 quarters at the game! We enjoyed a little time on the square with the Kahlstorfs before heading over to the Grove. We caught up with Aunt Scott and Uncle Billy before we went to the game. The kids had fun and the weather was perfect! We are so thankful that Mrs Andrea was sweet enough to let us have their tickets!
