April Fun Days!

Here is Sam getting ready to go to his first baseball practice! He was so excited (and handsome, too)!

Chet and I took the kids to the Amory Railroad Festival one Saturday afternoon. The weather was perfect and they had a blast playing all of the games and riding the cool rides!

Mama got to go on her annual girls beach trip again with my sweet friends! We always have such a great, relaxing time that fills my heart up and refreshes my soul! I'm so thankful for the opportunity to have a few days away and enjoy a little peace and quiet! We didn't get any "beach" pictures this year, but here is Liz counseling Hollie on her 1 year Bible reading! LOL!

Here are a few pics from some of Sam's baseball games! They have been playing each tuesday and Thursday and he's loving it. Daddy is helping Mr. Matt coach and "herd the cattle" as I like to say! They are having a great time!

Sam's First Baseball Game

Sam had his first baseball game last night. He is on the Rebel Lanes Yankees team with his friend Noah Hartigan and his dad Matt, who is the coach. This is Sam's first year for ball, and he loved it! It is coach pitch, but they can use a tee if needed. He hits the ball so good! Chet is also helping "coach" the boys in the outfield. Bless their hearts, they are all fighting over who is going to get the ball and throw it! It's pretty comical! So far, I think Sam is going to love baseball, and I'm hoping he sticks with it!

Easter Festivities

On Easter Saturday, we were invited by the Shafers to go to an Easter Egg hunt at the Decker's house. They have a miniature pony and the kids got to take pony rides. Sam was scared to ride, but Kendall loved it! The kids had so much fun running in wide open spaces to hunt eggs. Sam had a meltdown because he didn't find the big golden egg. Needless to say, between his meltdown and Kathryn's obsession in the chocolate candy, our egg hunt ended early and we went home! It was fun for a while!

On Easter Sunday, we attempted to get some cute pictures of us all. We did the best we could, and luckily, we had a few pictures turn out. We were excited to have Mimi come and stay with us for Easter. I even through together a "makeshift" meal with dressing, ham, and fixin's!

We are so thankful for the meaning of Easter and the sacrifice of our Savior for our sins. Hopefully, we will always remember He loves us, despite all that goes on around us.

The Easter Bunny made a drop-off at our house for the kids!

Attempt to get a picture of us at church!

Kathryn's First Haircut

Saturday, April 15, Kathryn had her first haircut...of course, it was by Mimi, who has always cut everyone's hair (thankfully)! Kathryn did so good, and luckily, we still have some curls left!
