Spring Break was "Incredible"

Over spring break, we took a day trip to Memphis and went to Incredible Pizza. It was so much fun!! We rode bumper cars, race track cars, played games and won prizes. We also ate entirely too much at the all you can eat pizza buffet!! The kids had a great time and they continue to ask, "when can we go back??" Mae, Willa, Mrs. Ashley, Allie and Mrs. Aimee came to play, too!

2nd Grade Wax Museum

Yesterday, Kendall's 2nd grade class presented their wax museum projects. They had to choose a famous American, research them, dress up like them, and present their character. Kendall chose Clara Barton. It was fun helping her get her character ready and memorize her speech. She did a fantastic job on her presentation! All of her classmates worked very hard on making this a great presentation!

This and That!

We went to Clarksdale one weekend in February. Everyone got haircuts and looked beautiful!! Maddie and Kathryn has some precious snuggle time!! She's a pretty good "baby whisperer"!

The kids and I went hiking on the Natchez Trace trail one afternoon! It was unusually warm this time of year, so it was good to get out and get moving!! The kids especially loved walking underneath the big bridge!

This little girl is a climbing dude! Everytime I look up, she's up on the counter or the bedside table. She is full of energy and excitement!

Kendall's Second grade Challenge class got to go on a field trip to Graceland in Memphis. They rode big fancy charter buses, and her favorite part about that was that it had a bathroom on it! LOL! Anyway, we had a great time touring Elvis' home. It was very eclectic to say the least! The kids had a great time dancing to a blues band in the street. It was a very fun field trip!
