Happy 5th Birthday, SAM!

I say it every year and on every birthday, but I just can't believe this big boy is another year older! It seems like he should still be my baby! He turned 5 and we had a celebration at school during lunch, and then we had a birthday party that evening! It was a busy day, but it was so much fun!

Later that night, we had a big party at the House of Bounce. It was dinosaur themed because that is his obsession right now! We had several friends from ECEC and his old school that joined us. He was so excited and they had a blast. I realized that we did not get one picture of us as a family! It was so chaotic and crazy, but I guess that's how little boys birthday parties are!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Valentine's Day was very low key for us, and that is just the way I like it!! The kids got balloons with a candy filled cane (Kathryn got a marshmallow sucker), and they got the Trolls DVD with some popcorn and M&M's. I also made them so homemade apples covered in chocolate and candy! They were delicious! The kids didn't like them as much as I did, though, so guess who got to eat them all??Chet got off work early and I was off as well, so we got to enjoy a kid-free lunch at KOK! It was a good day!

I'm not sure Kathryn was excited it was Valentine's Day!!
