Happy Memorial Day!

We went to Clarksdale for Memorial day weekend. Daddy played golf in the Graham Bramlett Golf Tournament with Preston. We went out for a couple of hours to watch them play. They didn't win the "big shiny trophy" (as Sam says), but we had a good time watching them try! The kids thought it was so great that daddy's daddy had a hole in honor of him. It was great that we got their picture on hole #4 in memory of A.C. Abraham!

We also got to enjoy a day at Moon lake with the Holders. Kathryn stayed with Mimi while I took Sam and Kendall (daddy was still golfing). We rode on the pontoon boat, but the water was so cold that the kids didn't really want to get in. We had a good time anyway, and we especially loved spending time with our good friends, Tara, Clay, Mitchell, and Harrison!

On Sunday, we played in the country and swam at Mrs. Glenda's pool. She had a Memorial Day party so we enjoyed some fun-in-the-sun and some good food! Kathryn was a trooper. She didn't love the pool, so thankfully, it was nap time and she was able to nap inside while the others swam. The kids loved playing with Cash (as always). 

Kathryn is 11 Months old!

This precious angel is 11 months old! She is the most precious baby! Her personality is so sweet and cute. She is standing up on her own, but she's not taking any steps just yet...I don't think it will be long, though.  Those hands move all the time--she's into everything! She loves to eat anything and everything! She has 6 teeth so her variety of foods is pretty good. She still prefers to drink from a straw. We are still nursing 2 times daily (morning and night), though. I say it all the time, but she is the easiest baby ever!

The precious babies...I sometimes get overwhelmed at how the Lord has so richly blessed us. 

3 healthy, happy, loving kids...what a gift from God!

First Grade Recognition Day

Carver Elementary had the first grade recognition program and play yesterday. It's hard to believe this sweet girl is finishing 1st grade! She has had such a great year and amazing teachers, but we are so ready for the summer to get here!!

Fun at the Memphis Zoo!

The NMMC Daycare always takes a yearly trip to the Memphis Zoo at age 3-4 years old. When we went with Kendall's class one year, it was miserably cold in April. So this year, Sam's class went in May, and we had perfect weather and an amazing day with our family and friends from school. The kids loved it! Kathryn was an absolute angel on the trip!
