This and That!

First Grade Play and Carver Arts Festival

The first grade play was based on what the students want to be when they grow up. Of course, Kendall wants to be a teacher! She did have a great speaking part in the play!

Carver had an art festival this year. Kendall's artwork was displayed again. Here she is with the art project that her and some of her class mates painted in Art club.

Kathryn is 10 Months Old

Being 10 months old is exhausting! This baby girl has started crawling and she is into everything. Mama is having to stay on her toes these days!! I can't sit her down in one place and expect her stay there anymore! So, occasionally, I have to confine her to the jump-a-roo or the high chair! 

She is now cutting her other 3 top teeth to make a total of 6 teeth!! She's loving trying all new foods, and she is huge fan of the corn on the cob!! She still nurses 3-4 times daily, eats some table foods, drinks through a straw, and is able to pick her up her own snacks with her fingers!

Her first year is passing so quickly!! I'm trying to soak up every moment I can with her (and Kendall and Sam, too!)!

I love this precious bonnet that our sweet friend, Sara Whitten, gave her when she was born. It looks so sweet on her!!

Our Little Artist

We were so proud of Kendall! Her artwork was chosen to be on display at the Gumtree Museum of Art this year. They had a reception and we were invited to attend to show off all of the hard work by the young artists at the area schools. Kendall loves art!
