The SNOW is finally here!!

Well, it finally happened...SNOW! And this time, it wasn't a false alarm! We have had so many days where the weather would say "snow", and we would get a few snow flurries, but on Feb. 25, it SNOWED and snowed and snowed. I believe we got about 8-9 inches! Of course, the problem with that much snow is that it only does it about every 5 years, so the kids had outgrown any snow clothes we had! However, we pieced together some outfits and went out and enjoyed the snow! Sam was not a happy camper about all of the "snow gear" we made him wear. And he wasn't too thrilled about out in it either, but Kendall helped him warm up to playing in it and then he was okay! We realized quickly that the kids would need to be a little older to take them snow skiing! :)

What a great big sis--comforting brother because he was scared of the snow!

Sam wasn't sure what to think about all of this!

Daddy's here now...got a smile from him!

Kendall was in heaven with the snow!

"This is SNOW much fun!"

The finished product...I'm not sure he looks like Olaf, but it was fun while they built it!

Poor Sam--his toes and hands were freezing!

Such a sweet picture of sibling love!

Family picture--we were freezing!

Our power went out later in the afternoon, so we went to the Brand's to spend the evening. Kendall ended up spending the night over there while the rest of us came home to sleep. The next day, we went back to the Brand's for a little snow fun and play! Mr. Caleb had built the kids a huge snowman in the yard. We then loaded up and went "redneck snow tubing" behind the 4-wheeler. It was fun and the kids enjoyed it so much! The snow was beginning to melt, though and it was getting messy and muddy. After 2 days of it, I was ready for dry weather and sunshine, but it was fun while it lasted!

Cool dude Sam!

Lots of pictures of our redneck snow-tubing!

The sun was shining bright! Cool breeze wearing daddy's glasses!

Sam Turns 3!!

I can't believe that this precious little boy is now 3! Time has passed so quickly, and I really wish it would slow down! We had 2 birthday celebrations in honor of Sam's 3rd birthday. The first celebration was on Valentine's day when Mimi, Aunt Karen, Sydni and Maddi came to Tupelo. We had a small birthday party with a Cars cake, and Sam loves his "mater"!  Sam was so excited to get his fast car from Mimi, too!

He's excited about his car!

Mimi loves these babies!!

We love our family!
Sydni, Aunt Karen, Mimi, Maddi, Sam and Kendall!

Sam's 2nd celebration was on his actual birthday, Feb. 17 with his daycare class.  I brought balloons, cupcakes, and snacks to celebrate with his class!

Sweet boy--he loves his Cars Tow Mater plates!

He's getting teased as we sing happy birthday!

Make a wish!!

So teased!!

I love this precious baby (big) boy!!!

Sam and all of his friends at school!

Here he is...the official 3 year old!

weight: 31 lbs
height: 38 inches
Loves Cars, trucks and anything boys! He is completely potty trained and has been since he was 2 1/2 years old. He gets along well with others, and he is definitely a Daddy's boy! He brings so much joy and happiness into this family! We are so grateful that God blessed us with this precious angel (and his sister, too)!
