Memorial Day Weekend at Moon Lake

Every year, we celebrate Memorial Day weekend at Moon Lake with the Holder's and the McCarra's.
We had a great time with all of our friends! The kids had a blast as well, even though the water was freezing! Sam wasn't a big fan of the water at all; he preferred playing ball on the boat!

Last Day of Pre-K at ECEC

May 23 was Kendall's last day of preschool at ECEC. It was a bittersweet day for sure! She had a fantastic year with Mrs. Pannell and Mrs. Sykes. She learned so much, and I feel she is going to be well prepared for Kindergarten! She was excited to be getting out of school for the summer! She made some great friends over the course of the year as well! We hope to have some play time with them over the summer!

It's exciting to see how much she has changed over the course of the school year! She's definitely gotten taller and a little more mature! Of course, she picked her very dressy ruffled dress and high heel shoes to wear on her last day of school--it was a special occasion and some battles you just don't fight!

Mother's Day Weekend

After the Dance recital, Mimi came to visit, along with Aunt Jessie, Uncle Mark, and Andrew! We had a fantastic visit. We cooked out, celebrated Mothers Day, and played outside in the beautiful sunshine! We set up our "redneck water park" and the kids had a blast! We are so thankful for our Mimi--she is the best mom and grandmother we could ever ask for!

Sam was hysterical...he would count to 3 and jump in the baby pool. He would roll around and bang his head, but he loved it!

Andrew was a busy little bee (as always)! He loved the water!

Mimi and precious Kendall

I love this little boy--and I love this hair!

Celebrating the best mothers!
Aunt Jessie, Mimi, and Me!

I'm so blessed to be the mother of these 2 precious kiddos! They bring me such great joy!! Even though sometimes we don't always get along and I have to discipline them, I can't imagine my life without them! My prayer is that I would be a loving mother and a wonderful role model to them!

Sam had a Mother's Day program at school in honor of all the mommies! Here he is praying before we eat!

Munchies with Mommy!

Dance Recital

Kendall had her very first dance recital on Mother's Day weekend. She looked absolutely adorable and did fantastic!! She shook that booty and smiled so big! I was so very proud of her! Here are a couple of pictures from the recital!

This is my favorite picture of Bitty--picking her nose! And sweet Maggie is jumping for joy!

Down on the Farm at ECEC!

Kendall's school did a program called Down on the Farm. She was a mouse, and she looked adorable. Her and her friend, Cas, were giggling and talking most of the time, but they had a great time! After the play, they had a Mother's Day reception in her room for us. It was fun, and I'm so glad I got to be there for it!
