Sam's First Haircut!

Sam got his very first haircut today by the one and only MIMI! He has the sweetest little curls in the back but one curl has gotten very "mullet-ish" looking, so thanks to Mimi, we got it taken care of! He did really good except he did not like the cape around his neck. Once we got that off, he was totally cooperative! He still has those little curls, but I saved his little mullet curl for his scrapbook!

Totally cooperative not that the cape is gone!

The finished product...this baby is so precious!!

Disney on Ice--Princess Style!

I took Kendall to see the Disney Princess on Ice show again this year! It was SO much fun! It was a fun mommy-daughter date night (we left the boys at home)! The show was fantastic--all of the lights, costumes, sound effects, etc were top notch! Kendall enjoyed the cotton candy, and she just had to purchase a Belle necklace with her birthday money. Needless to say, it lasted about 2 days before it broke! Anyway, we had a great time and we are definitely looking forward to seeing it again next year!

Sam's Thanksgiving Lunch

Sam had his Thanksgiving lunch program at daycare, and thankfully, Chet and I were both off and able to go. Sam was so funny! I knew it was going to happen...the class walked in singing a song, and when Sam saw all of the people, he started crying and turned around to leave. Bless his heart, he gets it honestly. I was just like that as a kid! Anyway, after getting him settled down, he finally broke out of his shell and starting acting super silly! He is so comical and full of himself! He was happy that we were there to eat lunch with him! His Indian name was "Sly Fox" which is so appropriate for him. He really knows how to be sneaky! We are so thankful for Sam and the joy that he brings to our lives!

Halloween Festivities 2013

It was a fun Halloween this year! The weather was bad on Halloween night, so we gathered the night before in the neighborhood and did a little "Trick-or-Treating" to our sweet neighbors houses! We had a great time and had plenty of candy to last a while!

Kendall begged her daddy to carve a pumpkin, so on a rainy Halloween day, they got together in the garage to carve a Pumpkin! However, it turned into daddy carving the pumpkin and Kendall whining and crying about I don't what! It was quite the memorable (but not pleasant) experience that ended in daddy getting frustrated and Kendall crying! Memories, memories!
**needless to say, Kendall starting running fever that night, so that explains the whining and crying!
