Sam is 18 Months Old!!

I can't believe this little booger is 18 months old! Where has the time gone?? This child is so precious! He has the sweetest, most gentle personality, and he is so much fun! He is so happy most all the time! He jabbers all the time, and he is so very funny! I love his little personality!

wt: 24lb 10oz
ht: 32.5 in.

As you can tell, he has a mouth full of teeth...13 to be exact! He loves to eat and eats everything that doesn't eat him first! He LOVES his daddy more than words can explain. He wants to be right under his feet non-stop. He loves the power tools, the lawnmower and blower, and anything that his daddy likes! I can tell that they are going to be like Mutt and Jeff! He loves to stand in the yard and wave at all the folks that ride by. He loves the UPS truck (all trucks for that matter), and he loves a choo-choo train! I just can't describe our love for him (and sister too!).

Kendall's 1st Day of ECEC (Pre-K)

On Friday, August 9, Kendall attended her very first day of Pre-school at ECEC. She was so excited about it (after much persuasion). I was so proud of her because she didn't even shed a tear when we dropped her off...and mommy didn't either!! She is in Mrs. Pannell's class, and she knows a couple of her friends in her class already! So far, she has enjoyed it, and she even gets to ride the big yellow school bus to the daycare after school! We are looking forward to a great year!

Branson 2013

We decided to go to Branson, MO this summer for family vacation. It's a place that I've always wanted to go, and since they have a really nice Marriott there, we decided to head that way. We picked the week of the year when they had the most rain (very unseasonable for them), so needless to say, it rained a LOT! We still tried to make the best of it, though, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The ride to and from Branson was pretty miserable...it was a long ride and the kids were just beside themselves and ready to get OUT OF THE CAR! By the time we made it back to Tupelo, we were all ready to lose our heads! But anyway, we made some fun memories for sure!!

Day 1--Swimming at the pool. Sam was not a big fan at all!!! We found the baby pool that had the zero entry and he did enjoy that! Of course, Kendall loved the pool and all she wanted to do was swim!

Kendall and Mommy being so silly in the water! Since Branson had gotten so much rain, the water was super cold...it didn't bother Kendall at all!!

Sweet girl!

One night, we went down to Branson Landing and ate at the Texas Cattle company. We sat outside and watched the Fire and Light show, which was very cool! We strolled up and down the landing area, and visited several cool stores!

We were able to go to Silver Dollar City Amusement Park and spend the day riding roller coasters, eating lots of fattening food, and spending too much money! But it was so fun, and Kendall had a blast! Sam was an absolute angel in his stroller! We couldn't have asked for a more well-behaved child! Mommy and Daddy even got to ride some of the big roller coasters!!

Kendall had a good time in the Old Schoolhouse!

We had fun riding the Dumbo ride!

Bless this sweet baby...he was worn out!

Sam even got to ride the jumping frogs!

"Wheeeeeeeeee"

Sam decided he didn't want to ride the caterpillar ride...

Date Night with Colonel Reb and Good Friends!

Brannon's Sister, Mary Ellis Kahlstorf got married in Oxford on July 27. She was so sweet to invite us for "parents night out" to celebrate with her. We got to spend time together, as well as with our besties. We had so much fun dancing to the band...in fact, I was sore from all that shaking I did! The kiddos got to spend some fun time with Mimi and Papa while we had date night! We even got to get our picture made with Colonel Reb when he made his appearance at the wedding reception.
