Father/Daughter Ball 2013

Each year, Lebonheur Children's Hospital has a fundraiser called the Father/Daughter Ball. This is the first year that Kendall has been old enough to participate. She was THRILLED to be going on a date with her daddy!! We met over at the Brand's house and got the kids dressed. We did hair and lip gloss, and they all thought they were beautiful! Kendall and Chet had a ball dancing (or at least that's what I heard...mommy wasn't allowed to go!). It was such a sweet moment seeing her all dressed up in her white dress with her daddy...I actually cried just watching them and picturing them many, many years ahead when she gets married! Anyway, here are some pictures of the precious night!

Happy "Daddy's" Day!

Happy "Daddy's" Day to the best daddy that these 2 could ever ask for! He is their #1 playmate and is so much fun! He is so creative when it comes to making up new games, concocting stories, and anything else that allows them to have the best time! I'm so thankful that he is truly a "hands-on" dad! We love him dearly!

"Look, Mom, No Training Wheels!"

About 2 weeks ago, Chet took the training wheels off of Kendall's bike and started teaching her how to ride. It only took 1 afternoon and she was riding on her own. We are so proud of her!! This seems like such a huge milestone in a child's life. She is 4 1/2 and I just can't believe she is riding her bike on her own with NO training wheels! She actually rode around the block as Chet jogged beside her...seems like a great exercise program to me! 

Fishing Rodeo

We went to Clarksdale this past weekend and got to spend some time at the Delta Jubilee. Kendall got to participate in the fishing rodeo, and I think I had more fun than she did! I had no idea I enjoyed fishing as much as I did. Kendall caught 4 catfish, and thanks to Jay and Aunt Karen for baiting our hooks and handling our fish.
