Moon Lake--Memorial Day Weekend 2013

We went to Clarksdale for Memorial Day Weekend, and we got to go to Moon Lake for our annual lake day with the McCarra's and the Holders. This year, Kendall and I went and left Sam home with Mimi and daddy working in the yard. We enjoyed the afternoon and spending time with our friends!

Mr. Independent!

Mr. Independent is 15 months old now...and he wants to do everything by himself, including feeding himself. This is what he looks like after a meal of Chef Boyardee. I don't do well with "messes" like this, but he's so cute that I can't help but want to eat him up!

15 month stats:

weight--22.10 lbs

length--31.5 in

cut top 1 year molars (10 teeth total)

Says about 6-7 words; loves balls and being outside!

Sweet Sam finally got his ear tubes on April 5 at the Surgery Center. Dr Berry did the surgery. We just love him! We are hoping that this cures our ear troubles!

Kendall's class went to the Memphis zoo on a field trip. The whole family got to go. Of course, the weather was so cold (after the entire week had been beautiful), and we were miserable. The only picture we took was of Kendall and I riding the camel! We didn't stay very long because of the weather and Sam was fussing. We hope to go back another day when it's warmer!

I Love to be called "Mama"!

There is no greater joy in life than these 2 little ones! I definitely have days that I want to "change" my name from "mama" to something that they can't say, but these 2 bring us such happiness! I'm blessed to be their mama!
